Grace Lutheran Church and Christ Episcopal Church
are joined in ministry in the following areas:
Pastoral Care Team:A team of trained leaders providing pastoral care and visitation to sick and/or shut-in members of both congregations. Once a month Grace and Christ Church visitors are commissioned to provide the Eucharist during their visits.
Mission Opportunity! (Click here)Prayer Shawl Ministry:
A group of people (mostly women, but men are invited) gathering twice a month to knit shawls to be given as signs of God's love to those who are sick or shut-in and to the newly baptized.

An emergency food pantry is located at Christ Church, which is always in need of volunteers and nonperishable food items. On a rotating basis, Christ Church also operates as an emergency overflow shelter for the homeless.
Mission Opportunity! (Click here)Outreach to the Troops:The two churches are in contact with Soldiers' Angels, providing material assistance to the troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as offering support to returning troops and hospitalized veterans and families of fallen soldiers.
Mission Opportunity! (Click here)Beyond these ministries, Grace and Christ have heldjoint Leadership Retreats, planned joint Social Engagements such as picnics, movies, historical and cultural visits, and worshiped together on special occasions such as Thanksgiving Eve and the Vigil of Easter.
